Speaker 1:

Hello there. I'm Dana Liversidge . Thank you for joining me on my podcast. This is the 10th and last in my January series of short podcasts on how we can create our own timeline. The timeline that supports a positive mindset today, I wanted to ask where did all the drama go? See? Here's the thing. If you've been following along with this idea that you are responsible for your timeline, that you can filter out that negative noise and choose who you allow in what influences you choose to put into that timeline. Then you'll have noticed this month, the drama has started to disappear. You're no longer lingering in a timeline of jumping from crisis to crisis of engaging in that negative chain letter of, did you see this? Oh , have you heard that? And instead with any luck, you've started to see that your timeline can be a very, very different place. If you actually decide to own it, to be honest about who and what you want in it, to start your day with positive people, not negative news to create that structure of support that says I can get up again today and do it because I know I have things in my timeline to make sure that when it feels tough and when I like everybody else have a day where I think I just can't adult today that I know there are things there to lift me and support me when you've decided that you know what my timeline's getting ugly. And you have this engaged and said, Nope , I am not going down that road. I know where it goes, what it looks like and how it makes me feel. Your timeline is no longer, a great big center of drama and negativity. Your whole timeline is starting to support you to have a different open, growth, engaged mindset that says, Hey, I'm doing okay. I'm allowing myself to create my own timeline. The influences, the language, the messages that support me that allow me to focus on what's here. And what's in my future rather than on what's lacking or pulling me down if you're saying to yourself, well, no, I I'm not in that place. Then please go back to the first episode in January and listen to all of them. I've deliberately made my podcasts really short. And if you listen to all 10, it will be just over an hour of your time. And what I would encourage you to do is to say to yourself, maybe this month, I didn't do this and that's okay. I'll start today. We're great at acknowledging when we find things difficult and then just quitting when we choose instead to own it and say, I can influence my timeline. I can change the conversations. It really does have a massive ripple effect on everything else in our lives. I know that when I stopped re tweeting any message that had made me feel less than uplifted, my timeline became a more positive place for the people who engaged with it. I know that instead, when I share uplifting news, positive stories, pictures of otters , I mean, come on who doesn't love them. That's when my timeline not only says to others, Hey, this is a fun place to be. But when I look back at the day, I feel proud of my timeline. I feel that I am helping to create somewhere that it's a good space to be in. And I also know that I am supporting my own needs when I reach out and help other people. When I share videos of my beautiful Woodland garden, that nourishes me as well as helping nourish others. So take a look at the timeline you've started to create. That's calmer . That's hopefully more full of joy and maybe even a little laughter and think, how can I now pay that forward to help others see that they can do the same? Have you stopped engaging with the retweets? Have you stopped helping people get their drama and make it bigger and bigger by adding your two pennies worth? Does everybody really need your opinion on it too ? How about instead of engaging in that you go and listen to a piece of music that you've saved in your playlist, or you write out a note to yourself to remind you of what you've achieved today. I really encourage you to keep working on making your timeline a more positive place. My husband says to me regularly, this isn't a rehearsal. I wish people understood that. And I agree with them. We don't get to do today over. This is the one chance to put that shift into place, to take that step and say, yeah, my timeline has got to a point where it's not supporting or helping me and I can choose to change that. And I'm going to start right now. Thank you for joining me on the podcasts. Do join me again in February when I'm going to be talking about how your mindset deserves nourishment and nurture, I'm looking forward to it very much. I hope you'll join me. Stay out of that box today.
